IN MEMORY

William Nelson Davidson

William Nelson Davidson

 William (Bill) Nelson Davidson

Our beloved husband, father and grandfather William (Bill) Nelson Davidson passed away on December 21, 2023, after a long battle with Diabetic Complications.

Bill was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on August 29, 1950 to parents William Ivard Davidson and Marvel Larue Nelson. He attended Highland High School and LDS Business College. He married his sweetheart Sandra Smith April 27, 1972 in the Salt Lake Temple. Bill served his country in the US Army. Bill began his career at Ash Pump in the mid 1970's where he learned what would be his lifelong career in the pump mining and engineering fields. He founded his own business in 1980, Davidson Sales and Engineering. Bill had a business mind, and was involved in many successful ventures.

Bill was an active volunteer and served tirelessly in his church and community. Bill held several callings in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He and Sandra enjoyed serving as missionaries together in the Salt Lake City inner city mission and as temple workers. His service was not solely reserved for church responsibilities. He was seen always pulling one of his many trailers helping in his neighborhood, family, and community.

In Bill's free time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and attending his grandkids events with his close friends and four boys.

Bill is survived by his wife Sandra Davidson, one sister, Peggy, four children; Jason, Joseph, Colton, Jordan, and 8 grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents Bill and Larue, and sister Kathleen R Northrup and brother Don Hall.
